Applications Engineer
Responsibilities
Direct customer technical interface with key customers.
Validation of device in automated lab environment which includes precision RF measurements.
Assist design team in RF correlation and root-cause analysis.
Translating 3G standards and datasheet requirements to laboratory and field measurements.
Maintaining traceability and database of measured results in an organized fashion
Design and build RF evaluation boards
Qualifications
BSEE or MSEE with solid understanding of RF principles and design at the board level.
Experience taking wireless devices through type approval.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse cultures.
Travel up to 1-2 weeks per month. Peak travel occurs multiple times in one year.
Leadership capability with groups – need to manage communication between testing, design, and customer.
Specific experience
Taking wireless devices through type approval.
Automating lab using Labview or C# environment.
Proven record in driving measurement results to conclusion, synthesizing data, presenting reports, and prioritizing both customer and factory issues.
